Doriette Jordan

Doriette is an Omaha-based multidisciplinary artist dedicated to storytelling that uplifts community voices. A Nebraska native, she has contributed to numerous stage productions, including work as a production assistant on Kumbaya: A Juneteenth Story and More Than Neighbors. Doriette has served as stage manager for The Divine Order of Becoming and The Journey: A Story of Aaron Douglas, and assistant directed works at The Union for Contemporary Art and Omaha Community Playhouse. 

As a performer, Doriette has brought vibrant energy to productions across Omaha, recently appearing with Anastasis Theatre Company in Ways to Win the Woods. Her acting credits include roles in The Color Purple, Detroit ‘67, Belle Terre, and Heaven Come Home, along with ensemble work in musicals such as RESPECT 2023, Holiday Extravaganza and Milo Imagines the World and many more. 

Beyond the stage, Doriette is a passionate arts advocate. She is a former fellow with The Union for Contemporary Art. Her fellowship led to her original interactive exhibit, The Bergamot Crown. The Bergamot Crown debuted at the Coleman Center for the Arts located in York Alabama and was featured at the Union of Contemporary Art in 2026.
